Production of alloys for waste water treatment system has begun
Following the US government study, every year hundred billion dollars are spent in the installation and maintenance of waste water treatment systems. These include metals withstanding chlorides, sulfates, hydrogen sulfide and bacteria in the municipal sewage or the extreme fluctuations in the composition of industrial waste water. Combining these chemicals with elevated temperature processes for oxidation and incineration are becoming rapidly essential.
Austenitic stainless steels 304, 316, 316l can withstand chloride concentrations about 400mg/L in municipal sewage sludge for oxidation processes at temperatures of 175 to 315oC or 350 to 600oF without pitting or cracking. At larger concentration of chloride, even above 5000 mg/L, titanium performs without problem. Hastelloy C-276 and C-22 also prevent attack of high concentration of chlorides at the elevated temperature conditions.
In mildly intense conditions, nominal concentration of chlorides and lower temperature limits, Nickel alloys such as Inconel 625, Hastelloy B and Hastelloy G offer good service.
Considering the environmental and pollution state, it is essential to use materials and technologies that are simultaneously effective, economical, secured and practical. Therefore Heanjia Super-Metals has decided to produce an advanced range of super alloy products that are rapidly replacing the traditional materials in the waste treatment systems. The use of Inconel alloys significantly decrease the overall cost due to reduction in the need of frequent replacements of the components in the processing systems. We are producing the variety of high performance alloys that are fit for use in the waste water treatment units. Contact us to order your alloy today.
